Course Eligibility

Key Eligibility Requirements: MSc Marketing

  • Bachelors - The minimum entry requirement is a 2.1 Honours degree (Minimum 60% average) (a Bachelor Degree (minimum three years) from selected institutions in any subject.
  • Candidates that do not currently meet the set entry requirements may also have the option to study the Graduate Diploma in Humanities and Social Sciences.
  •  Meeting the required grades on completion of this programme will provide a pathway to study MSc Marketing.
  • Offer conditions will vary depending on the institution you're applying from.
  • For India, offers may be made on the GPA scale.
  • We do not consider the Bachelor of Vocation (B. Voc.) for Masters entry.
  • Candidates with relevant work experience and good academic potential are also encouraged to apply for this programme.
  • The criteria for selecting the students is the sole discretion of the university as per their guidelines.

 Exams: English language requirements

  •  IELTS grade: An IELTS score of 7.0 overall, including 6.0 in Writing, and 5.5 in Reading, Listening and Speaking or an equivalent acceptable international qualification.

  • The Business and Management Postgraduate Scholarships are £3000 awards for outstanding students enrolling on a full-time Master's programme in the School of Business and Management.
  • All applicants who have achieved a UK first-class honors degree (or equivalent) and are on course to achieve a First shall be considered.
  • No requirement for a separate application for Business and Management Postgraduate Scholarships.
  • You also need to have domicile of one of these nations - Argentina, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Egypt, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Japan, Lebanon, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Paraguay, Peru, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Uruguay, Venezuela, Vietnam.

Important Details

  • Should be an overseas fee payer 
  • Should not receive any other University scholarship or full-fee scholarship from any other source.
  • The scholarship will be deducted directly from tuition fees payable to the University.

Chevening Awards 

  • Queen Mary works closely with the Chevening - the UK government's international scheme to develop global leaders.
  • They provide full scholarships for studying one-year master programme to the postgraduate students.

Important Details

  • All Chevening awards cover total overseas tuition fees and provide a stipend for living costs, airfares, and various other expenses to the students.
  • Applications for all scholarships must be made directly to Chevening, and complete details are available on their website.

Queen Mary Alumni Loyalty Award 

  • The Queen Mary Alumni Loyalty Award is a £1000 award open to all Queen Mary graduates enrolling for a postgraduate degree programme except those rewarded with full scholarships.

Important Details

  • £1000 or 20% discount depending on the programme of study.
  • Anyone undertaking an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at the Queen Mary University of London is eligible for this scholarship.
  • This discount is automatically applied upon enrolment.

Commonwealth Master's Scholarships

  •  The Commonwealth Master's Scholarships are 100 % tuition fee scholarships for candidates from low- and middle-income Commonwealth countries for full-time study at a UK university.

Important Details

  • You must also apply to QMUL for admission to the Masters's programme and make an application for the scholarship. 
  • Queen Mary does not influence their selection procedure and timelines. 
  • The Scholarship was Co-founded by Queen Mary and the UK Department for International Development (DFID).
