Course Eligibility

Class 12: average mark of 80 - 85% or higher (best of 5 academic subjects)
CBSE, CISCE) or a state board, or equivalent, with 80% or higher where subject requirements are stipulated

  • IB board-  Average of 33 points overall, including 6,5,5 at Higher Level If not offered at Higher Level/GCSE then Standard Level grade 4 in Mathematics would be accepted

Course Fees

Tuition fees- for a single year of study -  £17,400 - ( For the intake year 2021-2022)

Living Expense- £50.00 p/w (food), £40.00 p/w (Entertainment, Social Life), £5.00 p/w (transport).  (This is an average cost)

Tuition fees will be subject to an annual inflationary increase, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Students may wish to become a student member of BCS - The Chartered Institute for IT - at an annual cost of £20, or £30 for four years (subject to change).

Students undertake a placement in year 3 and are responsible for funding travel, accommodation and subsistence costs. These costs vary depending on the location and duration of the placement. Students may receive payment from their placement provider during their placement year.

For the academic year 2021-22 who meet the conditions of their academic offer.

No separate application for this scholarship is required. If you are holding an offer for an eligible programme and meet the criteria as set out in these terms & conditions, you will automatically be awarded an International Office Undergraduate Scholarship upon enrolment.

  1. Indian Academic Excellence Award – The ‘India Academic Excellence Awards’ are 15 exciting scholarships exclusively awarded for Indian students for an amount of  £7,500 towards tuition fees for the first year.

This award is available exclusively to students from select schools in India who will be starting their full-time undergraduate degree at Queen's University Belfast in September 2021. Applicants must be a student or have studied at one of the schools in India specified and must attain overall 85% or above in their 12th Grade to be eligible.

Online application is required for this scholarship. Eligible candidates are required to submit an essay of up to 750 words explaining why they want to study at Queen's University Belfast and how this programme will help them fulfil their career aspirations.

Students must have firmly accepted an offer for a place on a full-time undergraduate programme at the Queen’s University Belfast campus, starting in the academic year 2021/22 and prior to commencement of study have met any academic and language conditions attached to their offer as stated in their offer letter.

  1. Early Bird Reward– The ‘Early Bird Reward ’ is for New International students with unconditional offers  who may receive a discount of upto 10% when paying their fees by the deadline

For new International Students enrolling onto a full-time undergraduate programme in.
