Course Eligibility

Key Eligibility Criteria for MSc Energy Storage at Ulster University.

  • Students should hold a 2nd class honors degree in science, engineering, or related discipline to apply for this course.
  • Students who have an honors degree from an internationally recognized university from another country are eligible to apply.
  • Students who have secured 50% score points in the equivalent standard Graduate Diploma, Graduate Certificate, Postgraduate Certificate or Postgraduate Diploma or an approved alternative qualification in the science, engineering or related subject are also competent to pursue this course at the Ulster University.
  • Students also need to show proof of competence in written & spoken English - IELTS 6.0, no band score less than 5.5 or equivalent.
  • If a candidate has proven experiential training, a portfolio of written evidence demonstrating the meeting of graduate qualities (including subject-specific outcomes, as determined by the Course Committee) then he/she is also eligible to apply for the course.
  • Students passing out from this course can either pursue a Ph.D. or enter graduate employment as per their choice.

  • IELTS grade - An IELTS score of 6.0 with no band score of less than 5.5 in each test component or an equivalent is acceptable.
