Course Eligibility

Key Eligibility Criteria: MSc Internet of Things taught at Ulster University

  • Students should have a minimum of 2:2 honors degree or international equivalent in the computing, engineering, or cognate area subjects from a recognized UK University, Republic of Ireland, or from a recognized national awarding body to apply for this course.
  • Students who have secured an equivalent standard in a Graduate Diploma, Graduate Certificate, Postgraduate Certificate or Postgraduate Diploma or an approved alternative qualification in the computing, engineering or related subject are also qualified to pursue this course at the Ulster University.
  • If a candidate has proven experiential training, a portfolio of written evidence demonstrating the meeting of graduate qualities (including subject-specific outcomes, as determined by the Course Committee) then he/she is also eligible to apply for the course.

Exams: English Language Requirements

  • IELTS grade - An IELTS score of 6.0 with no band score of 5.5 in each test component or an equivalent is acceptable.
