Course Eligibility

Key Eligibility Criteria for MSc Strategic Accounting at Ulster University

• Applicants should have completed or been exempted from, the 9 ACCA papers in the Applied Knowledge & Applied Skills Modules of the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) qualification.
• OR should have been exempted from these papers by having gained a second class, or better, honors degree in Accounting from a recognized University in the UK, Republic of Ireland, a recognized national awarding body,  or from an institution of another country that has been recognized as being of an equivalent standard.

OR

• an honors degree from an internationally recognized university from another country (that gives exemptions from the 9 ACCA Applied Knowledge and Applied Skills modules).
• Students who have secured 50% score points in the equivalent standard  Graduate Diploma, Graduate Certificate, Postgraduate Certificate or Postgraduate Diploma or an approved alternative qualification in the Accounting or related subject are also eligible to pursue this course at the Ulster University.

AND

• Should have completed the enrolment as a student of ACCA qualification as per the specified criteria.

AND

• Students also need to show proof of competence in written & spoken English (GCSE grade C or equivalent) to the admission panel.

Exams: English Language Requirements

• IELTS grade - An IELTS score of 6.0 with no band score of 5.5 in each test component or an equivalent is acceptable.

Eligibility Criteria

• Should enroll for a full-time PG degree at any one of its campuses out of Belfast, Jordanstown, Coleraine & Magee situated in Northern Ireland.

• Specific courses should meet all the academic & English language conditions asserted by the university in the offer letter.

• Particular courses should commence in 2022 at Ulster University.

• Those who have enrolled for part-time or e-learning courses are not eligible for this scholarship.

• Students who have enrolled at London or Birmingham campuses are not eligible for this scholarship
