Scholarships Offered to South Asian Students by University of Dundee
Vice Chancellor’s South Asia Scholarship for undergraduate ( UG) and postgraduate (PG) studies are offered by the University of Dundee in Scotland, who’s known for implementing research-based approaches towards the education sector. For this scholarship, the University has specifically targeted 8 nations in South Asia: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
In the case of undergraduate (UG) studies, applicants from South Asia are entitled to remittance of £5,000, with a maximum remittance of £25,000 and for postgraduate studies, it’s £5,000 only. Students are allowed to utilize the scholarship from September 2022 to January 2022 for the first study session.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be enrolled in an undergraduate (UG) or postgraduate (PG) 180-credit full-time course for one year at the University of Dundee
- Should be pursuing the undergraduate (UG) or postgraduate ( PG ) course currently & should complete it too
- Students must be able to provide proof that they are from South Asia and that they are paying international tuition costs to the university
- Students who have enrolled for 2-year degree programmes can avail of this scholarship for both years.

Another award available to Indian students is the Global Citizenship Scholarship, worth £5,000 per year of study; the Global Excellence Scholarship, worth £6,000 per year of study; and the Jainti Dass Saggar Memorial Scholarship for Excellence, which is worth £5,000 respectively.

- Students do not need to submit any extra applications to be eligible for these rewards; they will be reviewed automatically.
- If you apply for a scholarship at a university, you will be considered for the scholarship right away.
- To be eligible for the scholarship, a candidate would be required to pay for all of their educational expenses.
- Dental and medical students do not qualify for this prize since they are currently enrolled in dentistry and medical schools, respectively.
- Students will be informed of the benefits of the scholarship on their admittance card, which the university administration will provide.
- The scholarship is valid for the fall and winter semesters of 2022-23, as well as the spring semester of 2023
